This book is fantastic looking at the 'dark side' of wellness. It discusses a lot of research on the self help era and is very eye opening in a lot of ways. This book is not against wellness, it is very pro wellness, it just looks at how wellness can unfortunately often take a turn for the worse.
Jolenta Greenberg and Kristen Meinzer have a podcast called 'By The Book' where they live by a different self help book every two weeks. This book is a compilation of what they learned (and unlearned) by living by the book. Definitely an awesome read. Helps to look at both the good and bad sides of self help and is very empowering to find what works best for you!
Written by Glennon Doyle, Untamed is a work of art. Although it is categorized as a self help book, it reads more like a memoir with Glennon sharing her journey, her stories, but not telling you how to live.
